Discuss your organization skills here!| The house of Doolittle | | Ever since I was a little girl my parents have called me Dr. Doolittle because animals just seem to be drawn to me. There have always been animals around me, usually lots of them. I was normally able to befreind even the meanest critters.Before moving here we had to give up one dog because of a pit bull ban and all of our fish because they wouldnt have made the long trip. That cut the "zoo" down to only one dog. Since moving here I have(as usual) attracted a few animals. A puppy tried to adopt us but I sent it away fearing that my husband wouldnt allow it. Then we discovered an injured turtle had dug itself a nest in our sideyard, so of course we had to keep it and rehabilitate it. Then the puppy came back and after discussing it with my hubby he decided to let it stay. There have been countless cats and birds that have taken to roosting on my porch. It must drive my hubby nuts that where ever I go animals seem to be drawn to me like moths to a flame.Are animals drawn to you?

| | Where can you go thats within walking distance of your house? | | I very much enjoy that the library is within walking distance from my house. If I wanted to get some new reading material, I can easily pop up there on my daily walk and check to see what they have. Also, there is a McDonalds and a grocery store within walking distance as well, so if I wanted something to eat, I can get that on my way back. Then I can easily walk to the park as well. Is there any place really close to your house that you can just walk to it? Looking forward to reading your responses. | |

I have four dogs, a teenager, a loving man and an old father that requires care., I also have a big screen tv with a crack down the middle of the screen and a stove with no numbers for the oven. I also have a 14 year old car and we have a wok.

This is because of our careless behaviour. We all think only about ourselves instead of thinking about others and about the land which GOD has provided us. Earth is our home and we don't think about our own home. THATS shameful. The temperature of the earth is rising, glaciers are melting, various dangerous diseases are spreading and we are doing nothing for it. Why? We think about our house in which we live that it should be nice and clean. But we are not thinking about the earth on which we have made our houses.

| | Living in a council house and buying designer clothes???? | | Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that council houses were for people who didn't have enough money to rent privately or pay a mortgage deposit. It seems this is not the case, as a certain relative of mine is able to have nights out every fortnight and buys a new designer outfit for each occasion. In fact, she can afford to buy whatever she wants - she's always showing off something or other that she purchased that week.Does this sound like someone who needs subsidised rent to you? | |
| | Brittany Murphy's husband found DEAD in same house | | overnight apparently her mom came in and found her widower (Simon Monjack) unresponsive in their (him and Brittany's) home and called 911 and he was declared dead and depending on sources some are saying straight out natural causes and others aren't wanting to speak till tests are done.. http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/37310101/ns/today-entertainment/ (NOT REF LINK)i always find it odd when a couple dies within months from each other.. i mean i wonder if its just the fact they are alone now and their soul just dies off with the tragedy of their lost love etc (although i never really thought this guy loved her but thats my opinion) but i do find it odd how he was/is/did try to sue the movie companies for Brittany's death in an insane lawsuit saying them firing her stressed her heart out and killed her.. i guess only time will tell but if he hadn't had serious health probs (diabetes and other things) i would think maybe some one off'd him especially if they are already trying to push natural causes thing..her poor mom finding both of them in that same house (that was reported from a different source than above) but i do find this interesting in the article of the link... | |
| | | Fruit flies in my green house! HELP | | As some of you know I am trying to learn to garden. My man bought me a green house for my kitchen. Its nothing major its about 5 feet tall and 2 1/2 feet wide. Its been going good. Right now I have some seedlings in there and some house plants. As well as a pack of tomatoe plants I bought at a fruit stand. I looked today and I had fruit flies. YUK! Only two I killed them. Does anyone know why you get them? and how to rid myself of them without hurting the plants? I did use eggshells in my water to give extra nutrients. I thought maybe the smell was bringing them. So I stopped using it. We'll see. If you have any helpful hints or green house safety tips, please share them with me? First Help me get rid of the fruit flies?! thanks fellow green thumbs. dl | |
