Do you Always Forget to Flip your Desk Calendar?
Do you have a desk calendar? Even though I hardly use the desk calendar, I will always have a Brand New one sitting on my Desk on the first day of every year. (It's more for decoration purpose)[em]happy[/em]Since I hardly use it, my desk calendar is also hardly up-to-date. I Always Forget to Flip over to the New Month. My eyes happened to be looking in the direction of my desk calendar a while ago and I realized that I haven't Flipped my Calendar for 5 months. My desk calendar was showing the month of May just now.[em]lol[/em]How about you? Do you Always Forget to Flip your desk calendar like me?[em]wink[/em]
What Desk Calendar Do you have?
What's on your desk? As in calendar and what does it say for today?I have a history in music calendar and today it say....25 Jan - 35 Years Ago(1973) - "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder reached #1 on the charts
2010
For sure the 2010 year will come soon, I promise you that.As usual, this year (2009) will end on 31 december and 2010 will start imediatly after. This is sure thing and nothing won't happen to change that, cross my hearth, everybody I speak about confirmed. So, everybody like to have a next year calender. Same to be hang on a wall, some would want poket calendar .. and some may want a desk one.How about one you can make yourself with allmost no cost and one not so commun? All you need is: - a A4 bussines card cardboard;- scissors;- a bit of glue;- a printer (you can use any black/white one, od home, public library, from work ..);- 10-15 minutes.Start your computer, go to the web address is at the end of this and complete the very short form there (5 select lists), click the download button, print the result on A4 cardboard, cut and fold, glue and there you are: you'll have a nice desk calendar and everybody will envy you and ask you from where you buy it[em]w00t[/em]Good luck!link: http://www.ii.uib.no/~arntzen/kalender/
How do you stay organized? By calendar, by.......
Me, I suck at using the typical wall calendar and mainly because of the tiny boxes you have to stuff things in, I have to hang a huge desk calendar on my wall because things have to stick out at me or Ill forget to look at the calendar, see how eventful my day is;) I tried the appointment books but the same thing with space and I don't like carrying around more stuff than I have to, like diapers, change of clothes for two kids, camera, id book, my books, kids books, SERIOUS. I will go through alot of my papers every month and try to narrow down the excess papers and that usually helps get me back on track and able to focus on today instead of yesterday, did i do this or did i do that. Oh, and Im a big fan of LISTING because its quick to look at and remember what you need to do or pick, etc Anyone have any useful ideas for keeping organized, disorganized is my name.
Do you always look at the calender
How many times you look a calender for a week? Why you look it? I always look it when i want draf a letter, plan my holiday or to do something else? What yours?
What Kind of Calendar That You Have?
Just a simple question. What kind of calendar that you have in your home? Is it a desk calendar or a wall calendar? And what is the picture in it? Is it a supermodel, an actress, or an expensive car, or a sporty MotoGP actions? Or just a usual panoramic views? Tell me yours.070707
What to do?
I keep a desk calendar, wall calendar and a pocket sized date book, and still I miss appointments! What do I do??? I have one in my purse, one on the wall in my bedroom, and one on my desk. How else can I make sure I remember these appointments??!!
How do you organize your freelance writing assignments?
I've been using print-out's from ebook, The Organized Writer's Sidetracked Planner, for years and, in addition to that, I use a notebook, my daily planner, and a large desk calendar. I've been told that I'm "hyper organized" when it comes to these practices, but it helps me keep on top of things and it prevents me from forgetting anything. What works best for you? Do you use notebooks, computer software, worksheets, or . .??: you'll have a nice desk calendar and everybody will envy you and ask you from where you buy it[em]w00t[/em]Good luck!link: http://www.ii.uib.no/~arntzen/kalender/
The Photograph 3.0: At My Desk
3.0 It’s 6:40 AM. Not yet daylight. The wardroom was empty save for a straggler or two from the graveyard shift. A fluorescent light flickered overhead and threw a dim strobe of white over my desk. It gave me a headache already started by a night of crappy sleep. Maintenance was supposed to change the bulb – we placed the requisition order for it two weeks ago, but you know how it is with City of Atlanta and Fulton County. This is a City wardroom so it’s not a County maintenance job. It’s a good thing the crapper never clogged up. We’d be in a real mess. One more cup of bitter coffee stewed in a Styrofoam cup with which to feed my sour mood, and Mary’s case file spread across the desktop before me. I had my own cup, an old Atlanta Braves mug from the 95 World Series, but sometimes there’s something about the purity of Styrofoam that makes sh*tty coffee taste just right. That was the case this morning. Last pot of the night brewed somewhere after 2:00 AM, a couple scoops of granulated sugar and about a three-second pouring of that sawdust looking non-dairy creamer created the just-right consistency of mud water. The right ratio of sugar and caffeine put a charge into...
91 Uses for Common Household Items 61-80
Use Ziploc Bags to:61. Knead dough. Place dough in a Ziploc bag so your fingers don’t get sticky. Or slip your hand into the bag and wear it like a glove. 62. Store panty hose. Nude, Tan, Nearly Naked — they look the same out of the package. Tear off the corner of the package listing the brand, size, and color, then slip it into a bag. Store each pair in its own bag to keep hose organized and prevent snags. 63. Remove chewing gum or candle wax from a tablecloth, a couch, or carpeting. Gently rub gum or wax with a Ziploc bag filled with ice cubes until the substance hardens. Shatter gum with a blunt object, then vacuum up the chips. Carefully peel off frozen wax with a plastic spatula. 64. Pipe frosting. Snip off a tiny corner to use a Ziploc as a pastry bag. 65. Store homemade soup. Fill up bags, then lay them flat in the freezer. When the bags of soup freeze flat, you’ll be able to pile them up like stacked books for easy, space-saving storage. 66. Protect precious cargo. No bubble wrap? Slip a straw into the top of a nearly closed Ziploc bag and inflate. Remove the straw and seal to make a cushion. (Heirlooms, however, should wait for that bubble wrap.) 67. Break...
